Glad to help.

The A24/2.8 is a very good performer on the DSLRs. I had one for a  
year or so and did a lot of photography with it. With the K10D it  
will produce the field of view of a 35mm lens on your film SLR. I  
don't know anything about the Tamron SP17/3.5. But the DA18-55 lens  
is at least a good performer, so one way or another you'll enjoy the  
camera.

The DA21 is a little expensive but is well worth it, when you can  
afford to go for it.
