I was unaware that they had "left the game". They've been releasing new bodies and lenses for their DSLR system regularly. What they haven't done yet is release an update to the E-1 top of the line model, which although a bit long in the tooth is still a very fine performer. Where they have a problem is market share, with a much smaller sales volume than even Sony who entered the DSLR market much later. But that's their concern, not mine.
