Mmm 55-300 looks afwully consumer Sigma-like lens. Hope Pentax will do magic. Pentax probably needs lens like that (unfortunately maybe, I dunno).
About TCs: in the mean time, any 3rd party TC with PowerZoom contacts should do the trick.
