Strange happenings : yesterday I processed a number of shots in Lightroom (v1), exporting the processed images to DNG format from the original JPEGs. Later in the day I installed the Tryout version of PS CS2, and opened the file browser to do a little detail work on some of them. Most of the saved DNG's were fine, but one small batch of about a dozen were reported as " not the correct document format", and would not open. Reverting to LR, they opened without difficulty! As far as I could tell, there was absolutely no difference between those that would open and those that wouldn't: they were all taken in a space of two days, and all were processed in LR at the same time, in the same session.
Anyone had similar experiences, or can otherwise shed light on this one? Unfortunately, I'm away for a day or two so I don't have the opportunity to hack the files for differences, nor will I be able to respond to any replies until Tuesday!
