Isn't it strange how tastes differ? I much prefer the other shot, with the way the two principal subjects stand out from the background. I find the tray of drinks (or whatever it is) too much of a distraction, and there are too many other things on the right of the photograph (the orange lentils, the notepad, the ring on the woman's hand) competing for my attention.
