a smaller focussing screen will NOT be dimmer/
"fainter" just because its smaller. It would only
become dimmer/"fainter" for a given lens speed
if it is magnified more to match a larger screen
visually.

In this case, all else is NOT being held equal. FourThirds viewfinder is

smaller and/or fainter due to smaller sensor size.
Once again the faster lens just compensates for that handicap, no gain.
