I beg to differ, Adam, but Sony is showing two prototypes. They are of two new models, different models, not three mockups of one future model. And as far as I can tell from reading the various blurbs on them, they are not soliciting design/styling information from people, just showing what they have coming.
Pentax was explicitly showing three possible mockups for the 645D camera with the notion of gathering people's input on what they liked most.
