Turning the camera upside down is also a handy method of getting a little
extra height.  It gets the lens above the viewfinder eyepiece.  Not much,
but every bit helps to rise above a crowd.

On a Danish website I read that for fill flash purposes, it may be
adviceable to turn the camera upside down. This wasy it's easy to brighten
