Apple's had the DST changeover embedded in all Mac OS X revs since 10.4.2, about a year ago. The recent DST update included updated client-side information on local variations to the DST adoption to help improve synchronization. Of course, if your iBook is connected to the network and set up to synchronize with a network time keeping service, it would update to match that anyway.
