Hi Pentaxians I really start to discover new photographic ways in low light with the K10D and I'm really happy that one of the finest (and my first one as well) zooms I own for over 20 years , the Pentax A70-210mm, works so nicely on the K10D. It has a bit zoom creep and is heavy but very well built and a joy to use and I have so much good memories with it. I love the bokeh and it is even usable for decent close-ups.
I made some test shots in the late evening sun at F4-4.5 and 1/180 ISO100 at 210mm (315mm) with SR on free handed and I simply can not complain :-) This camera really opens new possibilities in low light situations for me and I will test it next week in the streets of Zurich with my F50mm 1.7 and K 50mm 1.2 and the fast Tamron SP 70-150mm 2.8 with softfocus. I hope I can leave the K10D at ISO 100-400 with SR and a monopod since I really dislike high ISO so far. 3 examples from yesterday in the warm evening light from the nearby allotment: http://www.mypage.bluewin.ch/solicom/K10DA702101.jpg http://www.mypage.bluewin.ch/solicom/K10DA702102.jpg http://www.mypage.bluewin.ch/solicom/K10DA702103.jpg So far I really start to love this camera :-) greetings Markus -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
