Thanks for the heads up :) If I had other than a K10D I would be happily willing to do this - at he moment I am holding my firmware at v1.1 so that I can use the software fix if needed when my FA 50 f1.4 arrive tomorrow or the next day.
My kit lens and DA 50-200 work satisfactorily but I am curious if the shallow DOF of the 50mm will show a focussing error - hopefully none at all!!!
