Hello Tom, I think it is pretty cool. Being jaded with the area you live in is a common problem. No matter where it is, we get so used to it.
I have some friends who grew up in northern California in the heart of redwood country. I love to go up there to be among those giant trees and in those beautiful forests. One time, we were going up there and I talked with them before we left. They were wondering why we were going up there. They said "All there is up there is a bunch of trees." I just had to laugh. Keep the shots coming, even if you feel they are jaded.
