I'm using the Minolta Dimage Scan Multi II and think it's wonderful. It only scans medium format at 1120dpi (2828 for 35mm) but I find that adequate for my purposes, meaning printing on my Epson 1270 up to 11x14. The occasions when I want to do anything larger are so few that it makes more sense to send the job out anyway. I believe there's a new version of this scanner coming out that does 35mm and MF at high resolution (4000dpi?) and surely a higher price (the "old" Scan Multi II goes for about $2000). If they start to offer close-out prices when the new one's due you might get a real bargain. -- Mark Roberts www.robertstech.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
