My son built a computer from scratch 6 or 7 years ago. He fired it up and went straight for his new, high graphics video game. It ran for 10 or 15 minutes then shut down the whole thing. After many shutdowns, he learned about CPU fans and installed one. No more problems... Regards, Bob S.
