Well, I went out and took some pics tonight. It's been a long time.
Broad Street in Oxford was the venue, and the place was festooned with
'fire sculpture' called Luminox - a travelling street exhibition with
huge bunsen burners, lit pendulums, zillions of wax-filled plant pots,
all belching flame amongst thousands of onlookers, all being serenaded
by musicians. Very busy. I'll post pics in a different thread.

I worked out of the Domke F-803 black canvas bag that was sent to me by
mistake. I've decided to keep it.

Over the shoulder: 1DmarkII.
In the main compartment: EF70-200 2.8, SMC-A*85mm 1.4, SMC-K15mm 3.5,
Quantum Turbo 2X2
In the two front pockets: Stofen diffuser and power chord, 580 EX flash

It was very quick to work out of, in fact I used the 85mm 1.4 mostly,
with 20 minutes on the EF70-200. Didn't get the wide or the flash out
once. I wore it courier style over the opposite shoulder and the bag in
front of me for changing lenses, behind me for shooting. I loved the
little zippered pockets on the weather flap - perfect for taking caps.
The flap just dangled loose most of the time, but when the crowds were
too dense, I buckled it shut for fear of pickpockets - excellent
deterrent. The 70-200 fit straight in with lens hood reversed - snug,
but easily extractable - and that's not a small lens. 85 and 15 sat
piggy-back. I could have worn the Quantum on the belt, but it found a
home in the bag. Weight was on the limit really. In an ideal world, I'd
loose some weight there. If the event had been in daylight, I would have
lost the flash and battery, and that would have been very comfortable.

Not much else you can say about it. I prefer the black - I also got a
small FX5-B for hauling a spare TV camera battery about on location -
and that is sand (khaki) in colour. A bit to bright for me. Black is
stealth....

Overall, very impressed with the Domke - I thought I would want
something bigger - the 802 maybe, but the smaller bag enforces a more
careful lens selection, promotes discipline. I've got a few other bags
that can carry three times the Domke, I wanted a smaller bag.
