I have a Mountain of the Pyrenees (female, almost 10 years old), known as Great Pyrenees in North America. I am not knowledgeable about dog breeds, but in my experience the dog in the picture looks young, perhaps he or she (I think it is a male, though)is about 1 year old. They mature slowly, like most big breed dogs, and that one still has to grow bigger and stronger.
