I use a Bunn I bought used from a coffee house that was going out of
business. It's a beast and will not fit under the cabinets on the kitchen
counter, but it will grind to any size lickity split and is surprisingly
quiet compared to others I've owned. Grind size is quite uniform. It will do
about a pound in half a minute, enough for a 12 cup coffee maker in a few
seconds. You have to be ready with your own container when you use it.

Regards,
Bob...

did you have a price point in mind?

we use a Solis. Possibly the solis maestro but I wouldn't swear to it.
Ours is only about 8 or 9 years old though, so I'm not sure it's any
more reliable than yours. We also have various little hand crank
jobbies, that's nice and quiet for you.
