Hi all.

Just a ramble more or less i suppose.

Shot the birthday party yesterday, mostly D2H and SB 80Dx flash and my
home made bounce card.
As i was planning to shot mostly in portrait oreintation, isrotated
the flash head so that it would shoot straight up to the ceiling and
placed the card to allow light up and forward.

Seems to do a good job with +0.3 exp on the flash and in M anual,
adjusting for available light and back light.

I did notice that it did a really goo job if i left the flash in that
position and shot landscape position, and the flash head pointing out
to my right and the card still in out and towards placement.Low
shadows etc and light not harsh at all.

Did have ne problem, not noticed on the lcd screen but noticable on
the computer.

We shot in 5 rooms, and all five had different wall paint. Yellow,
rose, white etc.

The yellow and tose shots have a bit of a cast to them, the others
pretty much ok.

I shot in jpg/Raw mode, so i'll assume ACR will help me adjust for this tint.

Good day, lots of kids and food.

One thing i reenforced in my self Sunday was, i'd make a rotten babysitter.:-)

Dave

BTW i decided at the last minute not to use the K10 and Sigma. My
inhouse tests were all over the place. Sorry
