I don't believe I will be allowed to use flash during the actual event. I don't think I'll shoot the priest doing his magic. In church I'll probably just do some available light shots to pick up the atmosphere. There will be a pro doing a shoot on all of them after the event. I think I'll try to sneak of some shots over his shoulder to get all of them in one frame. The rest of the day I can do whatever I decide to do. I'll be able to move around as much as I like. I'll probably make somebody my assistant too. Couldn't I just use wireless if I want to use a multi flash setup? With the on camera as fill and trigger and a couple of the 360 placed wherever I need them? I imagined one on tripod, and one in the hands of the assistant moving around at my instructions. Can't that be done? Or is this too complicated for a relatively newbie when speaking flash photography? The reason I am thinking a two flash system is because the room is rather low. So I imagine having difficulties transporting light to the end of the room, and thereby getting uneven exposure, with bright foreground and dark background. BTW. I have one of those Lumiquests. That most likely means that it should be on camera, preferably with a bracket so the flash won't cause redeye and the shadows will fall behind the the subject rather than to the side. In that case, a light modifier would be useful - bound card, Omni-Bounce or Lumiquest unit. If you will not be allowed to move around, but can use flash, then you might consider a two flash setup - but you need a way to trigger the second flash - wireless or radio slave. You are starting to get into more costs - two flashes, light stand, trigerring equipment and knowledge.
