I've been using a Nikon HN-3 on my K24/2.8. If the A lens takes a 49mm thread, you can use a step up ring with that hood without any problems. The HN-3 was designed for a 35mm Nikon lens. Another option that should work well is the rectangular hood made for the 35mm Takumar lenses. That's a great hood!
