You might consider some other ideas.  Vandyke looks particularly attractive to 
me.  It's not very expensive, especially compared to using copper plates, and 
does not require a darkroom.  My largest camera is a 4x5, which I don't think 
is quite large enough for contact printing, but if I ever get an 8x10......
