Hi Boris
Maybe it isn't clear from the picture but the "building site" on the right
is in fact the public river bath and the funny fact here is that all it's
stairs are pointing in the air now because of the very low water level. So
that is an important part of the story for me and your cropping suggestion
does not make sense to me :-)
I needed the polarizer for some of the later water shots and to get a tiny
little bit structure in the sky at that overcast day.

Markus, this is strong shot, but may I please suggest a crop here...

Consider cuttin' off all the right hand side of the image so that none 
of the building structure is in the frame. So you'll get a biker, a tree 
and a roughly 1/3rd of the bridge. I think it is worth a look.

Also, I think that polarizer wasn't exactly necessary in this gloomy 
kind of weather...
