Hi all, A set of my pictures are being shown in public for the first time and, since this is a quite common goal for us (photo enthusiasts), I just wanted to share it with you.

She agreed without much effort and, who knows, maybe this is the start of a series of temporarly 'exhibitions' where others can also show their work. We'll see. I decided to stick with portrait mode and one of my favorite subjects, 'city landscapes', but including people on them as a mandatory condition. First I wanted to make B&W only, but I got an advice (from a a PDMLer BTW) to include a color picture to produce some contrast and I liked it, so I included one in each wall. The result: I had a great time preparing it, also some friend seemed to enjoy helping me with the selection and giving their opinion, and the bar owner is happy with the result. The place has now another mood, independently of the fact that you like more or less the the pictures themselves (that she seems to like BTW). So a win win business I would say. And it would be great if the place becomes somewhere when you can regularly see photography from local amateurs. (Today someone told me that the culture responsible of my hometown's Council wants to announce the exhibition as an 'official' one !) Well, I hope you like it and thanks for reading.
