When did that nicety show up in the U.S. jurisprudence system? Almost without exception, you get a FAR better deal, and a more fair deal, if you can afford the high priced law firms to take your case. Unfortunately, I've seen the reverse happen too often, as well, where the bad guys who can afford high priced representation get off scot-free.
