I thought some of you guys would be interested in hearing about this. I recently let my subscription to Outdoor Photographer magazine expire. I hadn't read it in-depth in a while, and I found another magazine I preferred. So after sending me a few notices that my sub was going to expire, which I expected, they have now sent me a note from a "collection agency" called North Shore Agency to "collect" the money I "owe" them. I Googled North Shore and found out all sorts of nasty things about them. Obviously, I don't really owe them any money, but it's annoying that I had to spend 10 minutes of my evening making sure of that.
I am thinking about calling Outdoor Photographer tomorrow and following up with an email. I am very disappointed in them. I'm certainly never going to subscribe to them again after this, and I'm going to tell them that. Meanwhile, the English Photographer Monthly sends me not one, but two, magazines every month, even though I contacted them and told them they could stop doing that because I only paid for one.
