Wow great tip. I also used a hakuba (look a like) and never liked it.
Currently I have a Z1p strap attached to the Hakuba base plate. I
don't trust the cheap plastic base plate. The manfrotto base plate is
what I need.
Does the manfrotto base plate include a tripod thread on the bottom. I
would like to attach a table top or monopod.
My current handstrap is a little large and pressing the shutter
release on the istD is a little difficult. This handstrap look
smaller.
