That's odd. Is this on you iBook or your PC? Anyway, looking at those options they are all using the Premium Glossy Paper profile, the PHOTO, BSTPHOTO, & PHOTORPM are quality level options (in order of quality from lowest to highest). Photo RPM is supposed to be the best of them, but IMHO it just uses more ink with little apparent quality benefit.
Personally I tend to use the Best Photo (BSTPHOTO) quality option. For what it's worth here are a couple of screen captures from my system. This one is where I select the paper profile in the "Print with Preview" dialogue box: <http://www.arach.net.au/~savage/Misc/PSCS2SC_01.jpg> ...and this is where I select the quality setting in the printer properties dialogue box under "Page Setup...": <http://www.arach.net.au/~savage/Misc/PSCS2SC_02.jpg> Cheers, Dave On 3/31/07, David J Brooks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Dave. > > When i go to print with preview and set up the profile it gives me > three choices. > > -SPR2400 PREMGLSY BSTPHOTO.ICC > -SPR2400 PREMGLSY PHOTO.ICC > -SPR2400 PREMGLSY PHOTORPM.ICC > > Any tips as to which one is more suited, or is it try all three and see. > > Dave > > On 3/31/07, David Savage <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > The profiles being Plain paper, Premium Glossy, Premium Luster, > > Premium Semigloss & Proofing Paper Semimatte? > > > > If so, just use the Premium Glossy Photo Paper Profile. > > > > As to the matte paper, I don't really know.
