The CS and Sales teams are all boffed up with regard to the license  
issues. Lightroom is their first "universal" license product.

Download and install the trial on both. Buy one. Register both with  
that serial number. It should work without any issues. If not, call  
Adobe and tell them that you already purchased the product and need  
their authorization to get it working on the second machine ... omit  
the operating system... ;-)
