For me personally:

I find anything much wider than the "90 degrees across the diagonal"  
view of a 20-21 mm lens on 35mm, and 14mm on the Pentax DSLR, isn't  
particularly useful. More FoV than that is simply too difficult to do  
things that don't look gimmicky to my eye. Even that FoV is quite  
radical: I use the DA21 on Pentax DSLR about 10x as much as I use the  
DA14.

I stopped using the Heliar 15mm in exchange for an Elmarit-M 21mm f/ 
2.8 ASPH long before I stopped shooting 35mm.
