When I have water in the background I prefer shooting without TC, because they tend to make odd reflections if I don't step down a lot.
The couple is very nice ;-) Tim Typo Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bruce Dayton Sent: 3. april 2007 07:01 To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: Re: PESO: Wild geese Both are close to great, but just not quite. The first is a bit better, but could be really great with just a little more DOF so the upper bird were as sharp as the lower bird. The second shot is hampered by less than nice bokeh and compete color of the dry grasses - maybe selectively desaturating them a bit would help. -- Bruce Monday, April 2, 2007, 11:08:46 AM, you wrote: JvW> Two new images, wild geese in the Oostvaardersplassen refuge JvW> which is just arround the corner from my home (6 miles) JvW> Two birds in a perfect formation: JvW> http://www.dfsee.com/gallery/index.php?id=218 JvW> And one landing, just before touch down: JvW> http://www.dfsee.com/gallery/index.php?id=220 JvW> Shot today with the 300 f/2.8 and stacked 1.4L and 1.7 AF converters JvW> Comments welcome!
