Hi Dave.

That sucks methinks. I cannot say how it is in US of A, but in Israel 
your severance package (right term?) would be enormous. The law has it 
that if a worker is fired he is to get a full (I repeat - full), monthly 
payment for each year he worked for the company. That's why they cannot 
privatize our Electric Company for example. They will have to fire some 
people but it will be huge sums of money.

Be strong and I do hope that this change is actually for your benefit.
