During my week in China, there were many times that one of our group would ask: "what is this we're eating?" The answer was almost universally: "oh.. uh.... is chicken!" with the occasional "... is pork" Some of that "pork" had pretty small bones, though. We just said "thank you" and plowed on through our meal(s). Perhaps it was best to not know the REAL answer.
