Thanks for you comments all, much appreciated.

Dave, the flower was shot with an old CZJ zoom lens which as always been 
pretty sharp when stopped down a bit. I also added a bit of unsharp and 
tweaked the colours a bit with gimp.

The bee was so nearly a good shot... as I was using the manual focus 
zoom I was surprised I got her at all. Then my dog came along and tried 
to eat her, so that was the end of that.
