I was at my Dad's the other day setting up his stereo and he had a two-disc greatest hits type collection of the Beach Boys. I've always been a huge Brian Wilson fan so I used that disc to dial in the speakers while futzing around with the cabling and whatnot.
Good lord were their harmonies outstanding! It's amazing to hear their early stuff on CD. I sat there just blown away listening to "In My Room," "Surfer Girl," "When I grow up (to be a man)," just amazing. There were a couple acapella tunes on that Disc, too, as well as a radio promo for Murray the K that was sung in typical Beach Boys fashion. God, I'd give anything to be able to sing like that. Genius. -Brendan --- Bob W <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Cotty's post put a song in my head, and the only way > to get it out was > to buy Pet Sounds.
