You're welcome :) Of course one might prefer using DNG because of the standard (more or less) of the file format. As I use Lightroom which can convert them DNG as I import them, I don't care and prefer using PEF for increased card capacity.
One has to remember an average minimum number of shots per card so, in the end, the remaining shots counter from the camera is a good thing. Maybe you'll have a good surprise but at least it is conservative which is the only thing really important.
