You don't have to download anything to get it to work with K and M lenses. The camera comes setup "Idiot Proof". There is a custom function that allows the camera shutter to fire with the lens on other than "A". Unfortunately I have not played with one since they first came out and can not give you specific instructions on which custom menu that is in, maybe someone else can be more specific.
