Thanks for the cropping advice Christian.  As to softness, I won't
disagree.  I'm sure it comes from two major areas - one I can control
and one I can't.  Shooting technique is still in it's infancy for me
and I'm sure that I can improve quite a bit.  The other is equipment.
I am shooting a lowly Tokina 400/5.6 that I only paid a few hundred
dollars for.  For the price, it is quite good - but it is no match for
some really serious glass like the new 500 you just picked up
(jealous!) or a 600/4 or some such.  Alas, I can't envision a time in
the near future when any more glass than I already have would come
into my hands.  Too many other directions and obligations right now.
