Juan, you're not being attentive to the list lately ;-). I asked just the same question (except that it was 60 vs 61 images for 1 GB card) some days ago. Apparently the PEF file size varies from 8 MB to 14 MB depending on the shot. Thus on average you gain order of 3 MB per a single shot. On 1 GB card in PEF mode I manage to get approx 70 shots.
