Hey all. Hope everyone was good. Looks like abit of mail to sift through.
Arrived back from Vegas. LATE last night. The four of us had a great time. Liz even liked the Valley of Fire photo tour, i had to talk her into going on. That was my hi lite of the trip. Thanks again Ken for the tip. I took the polorizer with me and used it at first. I compensated for the loss of light, but the pictures looked washed out in the monitor, so i only used it occasionally. I've just looked quickly at my downloads, and i should have stayed with the filter and ignored the histo. I tried to get it over to the right for more high lites, but it seems i did not need to. I did shoot DNG so i should be able to adjust the brightness etc. Great tour, only 4 of us, so the guide let us spend extra time at places and made a stop or to that might not normally be made because we were doing well for return time. It was nice ot hear all that silence for a few hours. Got a few good rock art shots as well. Went to see the Wynn, Venetian Hotels. Back to the Mirage for the Secret Garden. Thursday night was going to be spent downtown, but they had very high winds which brought the temp down, and we all wimped out. Daughter and James did everything they wanted and then some. They did they trail ride, not far from our tour, and James wanted to try the gun range and the fully auto weapons. Got that on video. Their trip to LA went well, but they have convertible face now.LOL I'll work on some shots for Paws in a bit. Right now its off to a show.
