If you can afford it, go for it I say. Considering your style of photography it appears to be the right tool for the job. And If it turns out later it doesn't work for you, the resale value will mean you wouldn't me out much I would like a film Leica, but the cost, my "style" of photography and the fact that it would lie idle, keeps me from entertaining such extravagant notions.
