I can appreciate why you're stalking this scene. This perspective is
composed well, but, to me, the gazebo should stand alone on the crest
of the hill and against the sky only.
BTW, I don't feel that the tilt is a negative. In fact, I think it adds
to its charm.
Maybe a brooding sky and the gazebo in silhouette....or(?) A figure
stiffly positioned in its center and at the precise lean angle as the
gazebo...or?

Thanks, Jack. I've been trying to figure out how to take it. I don't think I
can get it alone in silhouette because of the trees behind it and my angle
is limited. Either shot below (which makes it barely visible), hike near it,
which I haven't done yet, the slope is sort of steep, or from across the way.
It isn't visible from the other side of the hill or from the direction to the
left (I've done a little scoping out). I sure would like it in silhouette
but it seems impossible.

So I've been thinking of buying an old straw hat with ribbons at a flea
market or something and putting it in it or near it and climbing close and
taking
a shot with the hat and the gazebo combo.

Appreciate the input, that's what I was hoping for.

Marnie aka Doe :-)
