That's pretty nice! There is something of a magenta cast which could  
be corrected easily.

The HP S20 has a somewhat convoluted light path and was never really  
outstanding, but it was a decent scanner at a reasonable price in its  
day. HP never produced a Mac OS X driver for it ... I believe that  
the HP's USB firmware is incompatible rendering it impossible to use  
on Apple hardware, not even VueScan supports it on Mac OS ... but I  
know many who switched to VueScan to get the most out of it on the  
Windows platform.
