Round here there is a slightly crazy, but harmless old lady who has, I
think, some form of logorrhea. At least, she never stops talking to
people. You can be standing at the bus stop and she'll approach you
and address you in mid-sentence, as if you've known each other for
ever, and have been conversing for hours.

"and then John knocked on the door and I said 'do you want a cup of
tea?' but he was in a hurry, you know what he's like, and my back's
been playing up again, like that man on the telly, he was on last
night. He does make laugh, but I don't like Bruce Forsyth. Jean does
though, she's always talking about him. And I only had 2 pounds in my
purse so I had to put the sherry back" and so on and so on.

Then you get on the bus and she continues the conversation from
exactly the same place with another complete stranger, as if every new
stranger was her oldest friend.

That's what blogging is like.
