funny you mention it but thats what I am currently getting, DirecTV with everything they offer and a HD DVR for $100 a month. Thats the best $100 that I spend every month in terms of VALUE. I wouldnt dream of dropping it and of course I have that option so whats your point?
Most people spend at least half that for maybe crappy analog basic/extended cable and one pay channel, with no DVR, it's more than WORTH that extra $50, every pennies worth. Actally the $50 deal with no HD or DVR and only one movie channel, is the far worse value for your money IMHO. jco -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Francis Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 11:39 PM To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: Re: OT - for those of you who have DVD equip thatcan playPALsystemDVD's On Thu, Apr 19, 2007 at 08:47:38PM -0400, Cory Papenfuss wrote: > > you guys are not really with it, there are hundreds of networks > > showing 1000's of programs a month, so there still are tons of good > > shows, movies, and events available. They graciously waive the $5/month DVR charge. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
