all of this assumes you would be WASTING your time
on HDTV. I say this in not the case, A good HD home theater can actually
improve your lifestyle if you get the right programming/DVDs
for YOU because the viewing experience is way better,
EVEN WITH DVDS.

Add me to the snobs list, but I don't have a TV either. It takes too
much space and too much of my time. I know I have a long attention span,
and I don't want to spend Saturday mornings watching infomercials (you
mean that knife can cut through a soda can and
*still* make a clean cut on that tomato?!? --I could watch that stuff
for hours) Why would I pay for a big device that takes a lot of space
in my apartment, and then pay some money every month, to have time taken
off my life?

The good stuff on TV appears on DVD or online sooner or later. Same for
the good films that I miss on theaters or on the regular screening we
get at work.

DVDs, I watch on my computer.
