Um so basically you just have a different model TV , right?  

A screen is a screen is a screen :)

I like the TV because it is separate from my work -which is on the 
computer...
which is why I have no sound at all on the computer and i never go to places
like myspace or youtube or read blogs --  

One machine is for work, one machine is for company and entertainment...
I'd be happy without TV if I had money to travel extensively the way i 
used to-
although I'd always want weatehr channel :)
