My feeling is that the Zenitar 16 had a lot more good quality samples than poor ones. I have yet to read about someone complaining overly about one. Mine was very good indeed, I only sold it because I found a genuine Pentax fishee (17mm Tak), and couldn't really justify two fishee lenses. I'm not sure who has it now, I sold it to Chris Brogden, and I believe he sold it down east, possibly to Knarf.
