Hi Stan, I don't really have a problem setting the lights up, currently I shoot my products on a plexiglas table, and can set up so that I get a pure white background straight from the camera, knockouts are 2 or 3 clicks with the mask tool and then I dump the pics into the advert. This works fine with shoes and cell phones, I kinda have a standard setup that works most of the time, jewellery however seems to be a different kettle of fish. One day I'd like to get results like this http://www.zerillistudios.com/jewlimaging.htm, I figure its a matter of lots of trial and error until I get there, but I sure these guys where once where I am now....
