I had some problems early on. The site developers indicated to me that the technique used is that if there is ANY exif data, they search through looking for one of the Pentax cameras. What was happening to some of my digital shots is that different tools (raw convertors and editors) would not preserve all the exif data, including losing the camera model. So in searching the exif data, those photos would get rejected. But if you Save for Web and make sure there is no Exif data at all, then you can submit them with the scanned box checked.
