Not necessarily. Equity firms buy stock for a quick turnaround. If  
things don't go the way they plan, they usually just sell the stock.  
Long term investors look for companies with some stability and a good  
track record. If the equity boys get impatient, someone else will  
take their place. It's quite unlikely that the sky will fall.
